Me, Myself and I

My name is Megin, I'm 23 and live in Chicago..I am a student and part time window dresser at Macy's on State (former Marshall Field's). I'm totally into the visual merchandising thing, but my freelance gig is a pretty big drag. I see things everyday that I want, I hear of places I want to go; however, with all my commitments I'm super busy and still somehow manage to be super broke. I suppose it could always be worse. I like to imagine a fun, successful future ahead, and I feel lucky that all my senses are well in tact.







I try to keep my activities and obligations fun! After all, we create our own reality. I generally don't do things that I don't want to do. I'm not much of a people pleaser, but I am a good friend. Anyway, lately I'm in a bit of a funk..and that is what leads me to this blog. I feel like maybe I missed the boat? Is blogging totally 2006? I guess it dosn't matter, this is just a way for me to release some energy, and share the things I want and love with others. So anyway, my funk..I don't know if it's the fashion industry (or lack of) in Chicago, or my subconscious that keeping me in this mental state. Perhaps I am not putting myself out there enough?? Or maybe just as sipmle as a quarter life crisis?




I decided to create this blog to express myself....a first time freelance gig offers little to no creative free rein. This is a collection of the people, places, sounds and things that inspire me everyday.
