Tonight I agreed to have dinner with an old friend. I got to pick the place...See it was actually with my x-boyfriend. First I decided Bin 36, right next to a super fun bowling alley (10 pin) that happens to be 50% off on Mondays. It has been a year since the last time I have seen him in person. I thought it would be a fun, innocent evening. Of course he suggested something else, which I found to be hilarious. The entire purpose of us meeting was him trying to be forgiven, and trying to get laid. Not going to happen, I can't even have the dinner I want. Duh! Does he not get it?? The reason I made a suggestion in the first place was because that's what I wanted to do.
Oh well, I argued with him over a couple places and we decided on SURA. It was totally satisfying, the food, service and decor were all great. I really dug the interior. I lived in LA for a year when I was 19. My girlie's and I would frequent the Standard on Sunset, and Sura reminded me a lot of the Standard lobby. Long story short, totally worth checking out!! Great prices too:)
